16 London UK Blaise's According to Chris Welch, *this* is the famous Blaise's gig. . One problem: the gig is supposed to have occurred on a Sunday; today is a Monday. Perhaps Yes played past midnight? Anyway, Keith Emerson, Pete Townshend, and Eric Clapton are in attendance and all reportedly impressed. Roy Flynn offers to be Yes' manager then and there. The next day he buys them a Hammond organ, a new drum kit, and a van.

Attendees include Princess Margaret, Peter Sellers, Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull. Brian Jones had been found floating dead in a pool the day before.
