Due to be held Sat August 8, 1970 - Sun August 9, 1970 in the Arbuckle Mountains, Davis Oklahoma, the promoters put together a strong two day line-up. 30,000 tickets were sold, but a month before the festival was due to start, it was banned on health and safety grounds. Interestingly you couldn’t buy a ticket for one day, you had to buy it for both days for $12.50.
