Hey man. Either you add a link to the page you took (i.e. stole) you information from or you delete your page on Fandom altogether. You seem to have no ethics.
All the pages Azziur 'created' on Fandom have been stolen (just a simple copy - paste) from other people's websites. Several people have complained, yet Azziur just continues. Then as 'admin' of the Concert wiki, he blocks people from commenting on his stolen pages. A sad figure, who creates no added value for the fans. Luckily, they can find better information elsewhere. Azziur's pages are just derivative.
Concert dates are facts, not the domain of one person. As I have said no one on this site is taking credit for anything. If ANYONE wants to add their name to a page or a link, we will hapily keep it there.
This page is a wiki, not to take away from others but hopefully a resourse that others can use to improve their sites. Where this site differs from personal pages is that anyone can contribute and thus add and verify information.
As for "added value", the value is in the memorabilia that has been and will be added and in memories of people that have attended concerts over the years. This is where my interest lies having attended well over 5,000 concerts in my lifetime.
" Concert dates are facts". True, but this is about the content, which is lifted word for word from other pages. There is nothing original about your pages, they are not the result of any research, these pages already exist and have no added value by being copied to Fandom.
"1960 June 1960 Janis Graduates from Thomas Jefferson High. She enrols at Lamar College in nearby Beaumont. Summer 1960 Janis attends Lamar Tech College. She visits Houston, Texas, hangs out in Venice, California and falls in with the local beatnik scene. She returns to Port Arthur in the fall, wearing a sheepskin jacket to "spread the word."
This is sourced, word for word from http://www.janisjoplin.net/life/chronology/ " 1960 JUNE: Graduates from Thomas Jefferson High. Enrolls at Lamar College in nearby Beaumont. SUMMER - Attends Lamar Tech College. Visits Houston, hangs out in Venice, California. Falls in with local beatnik scene. FALL - Returns to Port Arthur in sheepskin jacket to "spread the word."
At least, when copying FULL webpages, you should have the decency of adding a link to the original page. But of course, then it would be clearly visible, that you have stolen ALL your concert wikis.
Why did you revert my last edit to the Metallica page? I was just trying to make it easier to read. The format, without any spacing between concerts and all, is very hard to read.
Hi
It seems that when someone looked at the edit, they saw a couple of dates missing and put them back, but they can see you changed it with a second edit. Apologies it's been reverted back.
How did you get the information about Sly & The Family Stone's 1968 UK Tour dates? I've been interested in finding out more information about their concert history and don't know where you got those.
Hi there, just came across the Ramones page yesterday and I'm looking to dive in & add a bunch of flyers and fill in some missing venue names. I was wondering if you'd be terribly offended if I broke up the large blocks into something more like the Black Flag layout? Figured I should check with you before rearranging things in case you had something else in mind. Thanks.
I won't be offended at all. This is a big project and is taking a long time to get round all the pages, so any help is appreciated. My intention is for all the pages to look something like the Black Flag page.
The only thing I ask is keep it clean. I have had content removed because of nudity. So just update yourself with fandom's rules on content.
Hi—
My sister has always claimed she heard Janice Joplin perform at a club in Pittsburgh, long before she was ever popular. I can’t find reference to that anywhere. My sister didn’t know who was singing, so she asked someone who said, “That’s Janice Joplin. She’s gonna be famous one day.” Can you give any help with this one? Thanks!
Emily
