  • Hi Azziur,

I uploaded an image for the Jimi Hendrix concert on August 17, 1968 at Municipal Auditorium in Atlanta, GA, but I'm unable to add the link to the Jimi Hendrix page because it's protected. I'm also unable to comment on that page, so I'm notifying you so you can add it.

  • Hi Azziur,

Why did you change the Ike & Tina Turner Concerts 1960s page back to Tina Turner concerts 1960s? Tina did not perfom any solo concerts in the 1960s, she was part of a duo. Also there are some inaccuracies. For example, Ike met Tina in 1957 at the Manhattan Club in East St. Louis, IL, not in 1956 at Club Manhatten, St. Louis, MO. They did not perform a benefit concert for Nixon on April 1, 1960, that is an april fools poster. Their debut single wasn't even released at that time and the photo of Tina on the poster is from 1969, notice she's pictured with former president "Ike" Eisenhower. I was trying to improve the page but you've prevented edits. Then you deleted the Ike & Tina Turner Concerts 1970s page. For what reason? If you prefer to have them titled Tina Turner Concerts then communicate that instead of just undoing edits with no explanation.

  • Hi Azziur,

Can you tell me where you sourced all the Poster, Handbill and Ticket stubs for Cat Stevens Concerts?

I'd very much like to get hi-res scans of these.

    Thanks!

    • Sorry there is no 'one' source, we just try and find the best scans available.

  • So you are at it again "Azziur"!

The New York Dolls concert wiki was updated on February 1, 2020 with information directly lifted from my webpage (http://www.fromthearchives.org/nyd/chronology.html) almost word for word. No research was done by yourself, instead you just steal from others. No references nor links to sources are made either.

As I mentioned last year, the purpose of your activity escapes me. You are just recreating an inferior copy of online content that already has been made available by experts.

    • If the "purpose of my activities escape you" why are you so obsessed with them.

  • Hey man. Either you add a link to the page you took (i.e. stole) you information from or you delete your page on Fandom altogether. You seem to have no ethics.

      Loading editor
    • If you checked properly you would see your link is still in the comments section!

As for stealing and ethics, unless you have all NYD gigs memorised, then you yourself stole this information!

    • All the pages Azziur 'created' on Fandom have been stolen (just a simple copy - paste) from other people's websites.
Several people have complained, yet Azziur just continues. Then as 'admin' of the Concert wiki, he blocks people from commenting on his stolen pages. A sad figure, who creates no added value for the fans. Luckily, they can find better information elsewhere. Azziur's pages are just derivative.

    • Concert dates are facts, not the domain of one person. As I have said no one on this site is taking credit for anything. If ANYONE wants to add their name to a page or a link, we will hapily keep it there.

This page is a wiki, not to take away from others but hopefully a resourse that others can use to improve their sites. Where this site differs from personal pages is that anyone can contribute and thus add and verify information.

As for "added value", the value is in the memorabilia that has been and will be added and in memories of people that have attended concerts over the years. This is where my interest lies having attended well over 5,000 concerts in my lifetime.

    • " Concert dates are facts". True, but this is about the content, which is lifted word for word from other pages.
There is nothing original about your pages, they are not the result of any research, these pages already exist and have no added value by being copied to Fandom.

      Just one example:
      https://concerts.fandom.com/wiki/Janis_Joplin
One entry on 'your' page reads as follows

      "1960
June 1960 Janis Graduates from Thomas Jefferson High. She enrols at Lamar College in nearby Beaumont.
Summer 1960 Janis attends Lamar Tech College. She visits Houston, Texas, hangs out in Venice, California and falls in with the local beatnik scene. She returns to Port Arthur in the fall, wearing a sheepskin jacket to "spread the word."

This is sourced, word for word from http://www.janisjoplin.net/life/chronology/
      " 1960
JUNE: Graduates from Thomas Jefferson High. Enrolls at Lamar College in nearby Beaumont.
SUMMER - Attends Lamar Tech College. Visits Houston, hangs out in Venice, California. Falls in with local beatnik scene.
FALL - Returns to Port Arthur in sheepskin jacket to "spread the word."

At least, when copying FULL webpages, you should have the decency of adding a link to the original page.
But of course, then it would be clearly visible, that you have stolen ALL your concert wikis.

  • Why did you revert my last edit to the Metallica page? I was just trying to make it easier to read. The format, without any spacing between concerts and all, is very hard to read.

    • Hi It seems that when someone looked at the edit, they saw a couple of dates missing and put them back, but they can see you changed it with a second edit. Apologies it's been reverted back.

Thanks for the great work your doing.

  • How did you get the information about Sly & The Family Stone's 1968 UK Tour dates? I've been interested in finding out more information about their concert history and don't know where you got those.
