1991-06-12 International Rock Awards

The third and final IRA was held at the Docklands Arena, London on June 12, 1991 and hosted by Leslie Nielsen. Presenters included Rick Astley, Stewart Copeland, Ray Davies, Bo Diddley, Duran Duran, Bob Geldof, Jasmine Guy, Chrissie Hynde, Ben E. King, The Law, Ann Magnuson, Moody Blues, Johnette Napolitano, Peter Noone, Michael Ontkean, Lisa Stansfield, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Urban Dance Squad, Steve Vai.

Performers included Doobie Brothers, Faith No More (who performed "Epic" and Bottum and Bordin were nominated for Most Valuable Player awards), Scorpions, Roxette, Sting and ZZ Top and finished with a finale of "My Generation" by Bo Diddley and members of Scorpions & Faith No More.


Nominees for Album of the Year included Black Crowes, Phil Collins, INXS, Jane's Addiction, Living Colour & Neil Young and Crazy Horse.

ZZ Top received the Video Legend Award from Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Ann Magnuson.

Pete Townshend was the winner of the 'Living Legend' award.
